BIO-HUB Trust facilitates the setting up of Innovation and Communication Platforms (ICPs) as they are a cornerstone of our community development programming. ICPs are established to foster interaction among a group of relevant stakeholders with shared interest to support co-development and co-designing of research and interventions that strengthen community livelihoods. The stakeholders perform different but complementary roles in the development, dissemination and adoption of knowledge for socio- economic benefit. Our approach with ICPs increases the adoption of relevant technologies produced by both communities and development partners to build climate resilience.
